Our Mission

Ten Seconds Film Ltd. is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization created to honor the victims of the attack on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001, through the creation and distribution of Do I Look Like Your Wife?, a short film being produced in collaboration with the Department of Film & Media Studies at Dartmouth College. The film celebrates the compassion and selflessness exhibited by complete strangers towards each other on that day, regardless of race, religion, color or creed.  This is especially important to share with young people who were not yet born in 2001.  The film is not intended to be a wistful reminder of a horrific event, but a beacon of hope for the future... the future of our society, the future of America.  We need to show young people who have grown up in a divided world that they don’t need to live in the shadows of the perpetual isolation and anxiety that permeate their lives.  Fear and trepidation can be vanquished by empathy, supplanting differences with our basic, shared humanity.
